ST. MORITZ CUP & OKTOBERFEST MEN’S HOCKEY TOUR 2023

PLC Sports is recruiting recreational hockey players from all over Canada and the U.S. to join us on our Oktoberfest and St. Moritz Cup Tour.
The tour starts with a visit to Salzburg. We will have dinner at the oldest beer hall in Austria. The next day we head to the Eagle's Nest for a tour up the mountain and then head to Innsbruck for 2 nights. Teams will play and exhibition game in the evening. Now it's time to head to St. Moritz, Switzerland for the ST. Moritz Cup. All teams will play 5 tournament games to see who will raise the cup. The tournament is open to all players 28 years and older. You can register your club team or as an individual and be placed on a team. teams will be placed in a division based on the teams average age. After the tournament, teams head to Munich for 3 days with plenty of time to enjoy Munich's Oktoberfest celebrations. Severin Beier: The Town of St. Moritz
Severin has been involved in the tournament from day 1. He has worked tirelessly to ensure the tournament has had all the resources required to ensure every guest in ST. Moritz has had an amazing experience.

Andy Meirhofer: St. Moritz Hockey Club
Andy has not only assembled a local St. Moritz team to participate in the tournament but he has organized all the timekeepers and local support at the rink in St. Moritz.

PLAYERS

Juha Salomaa
Juha was one of the first teams to commit to entering a team in the St. Moritz Cup. In fact he came the first 2 years of the tournament. Juha was an excellent resource to provide feedback and helpful suggestions on how to make the tournament better. Unfortunately we lost Juha in January 2022.

Thomas Kellenberger: SC Kusnacht
Thomas not only organized a team for the 1st St. Moritz Cup but a team every year. Thomas has been a valuable asset for the tournament team always willing to help and to organize the referees.

Jarmo Lilius: Mansen Ketut
Jarmo has set the bar for excellence at the St. Moritz Cup. In 2021 Jarmo won the scoring title and repeated the accomplishment in 2022. Jarmo is a true play maker as most of his points came from assists. It's a lot of fun to watch Jarmo play hockey.
